Full description
DDR Museum – a hands-on experience of history.
Watch history come alive in our uniquely conceived exhibition, which takes its visitors on a journey back in time to a long-defunct state. Step right into the centre of life in the DDR and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Visitors are encouraged to engage with the fabric of the museum in what is one of the most interactive exhibitions in the world. Open flaps, look behind doors and pull out drawers, rummage through an East German wardrobe in an authentically reconstructed high-rise tower block apartment or rev up our Trabi simulator and take a motorized tour through the past.
Visit Germany's Most Popular Museum among foreign tourists, according to the German Tourist Board.
The DDR Museum is historical fun for the whole family!
