##Description
Enjoy a unique experience on your trip visiting the archaeological zone of Guachimontones, enjoy a spectacular view with the perfect weather. You will have time to tour the museum in the area, where you can watch a video explaining about the civilization that lived there. The archaeological zone of Guachimontones is located in the Jalisco municipality of Teuchitlán. This area is characterized by its peculiar architectural style: staggered conical bases and circular courtyards that also integrate a Ball Game and several terraces and buildings. In reality, little is known about the site, since its discovery dates only to 1970.
This civilization, known as Tradition Teuchitlán, had its peak between 200 and 400 A.D. and disappeared around 900 AD, and it is known that its age is more than 2,000 years. On this tour, your guide will take you to explore the archeological zone and its main areas: The Circle 1 or Gran Guachi; the Iguana or Circle 2; the central altar of the Azquelite, the Circle 4, the ball games and the chinampas. You will have time for lunch in one of the restaurants in the area (on your own). You can eat meat, seafood or traditional frog legs!
