By visiting historical sites that were at the forefront of Germany's only bloodless revolution we illustrate the step-by-step process of the GDR's collapse. Despite the winds of change blowing across from Moscow (in form of Glasnost and Perestroika) and the growing unrest among East German citizens, the Socialist leaders held on to their ideological blinkers.

Feel the spirit of these turbulent times at places like the Alexanderplatz and the Berlin Wall. And not to forget the place of the famous press conference on 9th November 1989 that led to an unplanned run-up to the Berlin wall. The border crossing at Bornholmer Strasse was where the Iron Curtain finally crumbled after a chain of coincidences and misunderstandings.
